The Max Windle Project at James’ Place
James’ Place is grateful to Max Windle Memorial Trust for funding a special pilot project to explore extending our life-saving treatment to young men and those identifying as male aged 16 and 17 under the care of Alder Hey Children’s Hospital Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS).
The pilot will take place from February ’24 to February ’25.
Please note that during this pilot period James’ Place cannot accept direct referrals from 16 and 17 year olds or their parents for safeguarding reasons. Any referrals must come directly from Alder Hey CAMHS. They must also be living with a parent or guardian and be registered with a Liverpool or Sefton GP.
If you are concerned about a suicidal young person you can contact Alder Hey CAMHS on 0808 196 3550 or 0151 293 3577.
