Events and Fundraising
There are lots of ways you can fundraise for James’ Place. Whether you’re after an active challenge or you prefer a slower pace, our team are on hand to support you with guidance and materials to help you make the most of your fundraising. Here are some ways you can fundraise:
- Start moving – Seasoned runner or total newbie? There are lots of running and cycling events throughout the year across the UK for everyone, have a look at what’s on near you, sign up and start fundraising!
- Climb to the summit – Perhaps you’d prefer to take on the challenge of walking to the peak of a mountain; find a group of a friends and take your first step for James’ Place.
- Hold a fundraising event – Host a bake off, music evening, dinner party or quiz night (or anything else in between) for a fun evening with family and friends to raise money for a good cause.
- Celebrating? – For birthdays, anniversaries, weddings and other special occasions, family and friends often want to show their kindness to you. You can choose to donate to James’ Place in lieu of gifts, or even ask for donations on the day.
If you’d like to fundraise for James’ Place through a challenge, event or celebration, the best first step is set up a JustGiving page. To set up your fundraising page, just follow this link, click the blue button on the right-hand top of the page and enter your details. You’ll be able to set a target, share your story (if you would like to), and write updates to share with those who have donated to your page.
If you have a fundraising idea or event you would like to discuss, we’d love to hear from you. Please get in touch by email at fundraising@jamesplace.org.uk
